Propeller Bluetooth Stack Demo

After going months without a lot of time for working on my hobby projects, I finally had a few free days to work on debugging my embedded Bluetooth stack for the Propeller. I got it working well enough to demo a Serial Port Profile device, implemented using only a Propeller Demo Board and a $2 USB Bluetooth dongle.

The forum thread is broken :-(

Would like a bit more info on the hack, such as the exact bluetooth dongle ya’ll hacked, and the pin out wiring…

Sorry, Parallax changed their forum URLs recently and broke everyone’s links :(

This wasn’t really a hack, per se… I’m using the Bluetooth dongle in the same standard way that a PC uses it when it’s plugged into a USB port. So the pinout is just standard USB, and it should work with any USB Bluetooth adapter.

      Cheers,

    thanks Steffen

Hello Beth, this projetc is amazing.

Did you use some USB protocol analyzer in hardware or software to capture the USB packets between USB BT gongle and PC ?

BTW, you have a stunning beautiful voice. <3 <3 <3
